Dog-tooth mania

Although I did not completely hold my promise to post every week, I did manage to post a new item within 2 weeks, so I'm still a little proud at myself! And even though my amount of readers have dropped tremendously I still keep the hope alive that one day I'll have a million followers, reading every single item I post..! haha.
So back to what is really important; I've been shopping of course (what else!) and like my previous post I've found some dog tooth patterns. This time I went a little overboard only because I'm so in love with this pattern and always have been.. The main reason, or no, two reasons for this obsession are first the memory of when I was a little kid. I liked something that had that pattern, what it was.. I don't know, but to this day I have some weird thing for it and second because it combines my two favorite colors (guess what they are...). I started my dog-tooth shopping spree by finding the cutest bag ever at Romwe.com. The combination of gold and the pattern is just so sophisticated. Who could resist a little cutey like that huh? (If you purchase something for the first time at Romwe.com use the following code to get 15% off everything you buy: '15%off').

After finding the adorable bag I totally got the dog-tooth fever and start typing 'dog tooth' in literally every search navigator I came across and finally found the rest of my items. Boohoo had two cape's in dog-tooth print; one with a blocked patterns at the outside (on the photo) of the cape and one marked as 'over sized scarf cape'. I took the over sized scarf because I think it would look better if I wrap it around my shoulder in the winter with a jacket underneath it. Unfortunately I couldn't return to the item to make picture of it because I probably bought the last one (lucky me!). The legging is just nice for anything; a casual day or a work day with a long blazer of sleeveless blazer on top of it. Oh, and I also bought a bodycon dog-tooth dress! Because of the bad quality photo I'll direct you to the item through HERE. This dress is sexy but can be worn to work with a lace top or a big necklace or scarf on top. The deep V-neck makes it a little to risky to be just wearing it with a blazer ;). Oh, and if you decide to buy anything at boohoo.com, you can use promo code 'ITSYOURS' (field is cache sensitive!) for 10% off everything!! You have to be quick though, the code will only last for a few hours.

Enjoy!

Coming back with amo

I can't believe it has been over a year already that I posted anything. The last time I bragged about my vacation to the Caribbean and it was great, I've been visiting London, and Ibiza in the meanwhile which has been a blast. But I've been working most of the time unfortunately. Now I'm back to update you with fashion and everything that interest me. I'm determined to post  at least one thing a month, so be prepared!

Because my only spare time is during the weekend, I like to order myself some treats every now and again.. meaning clothing, shoes and beauty products. I don't have a specific style, depending on my mood I like a certain style. But, because I'm at work most of the time, I'm trying to make my style more work-ish. That means; skirts, trousers, long sleeves blouses and shirts. Sounds pretty boring huh? But still, in the next few weeks I'll post all my orders mostly focused on that style, making work-wear fun and edgy, just like me! Hope you like it.. !

Orders of this weekend:

1. Chicwish / 2. Choies / 3. Choies / 4. Choies

The jacket is one of my favorite items I bumped into this past few weeks. It looks so damn cosy and warm, I'm sure I am going to need it this fall and winter! You can combine it with almost everything, it can be worn both casual as chique with a nice off-white skirt. The sweater just caught my attention becauce I'm looking for a sweater I can wear with my rose skirt I bought a few months ago.. Its a look I've seen a few times but didn't want to give in to. Now I do and this sweater convinced me I should. The cardigan is simple but a must-have this fall. Keeps you warm and is suitable for every situation. And least but centainly not least this amazing dog-tooth skirt. I'm so into dog-tooth patterns this fall and the moment I saw the skirt I was in love! I'm totally happy with my items, I cant waite to get them delivered!

COUNTING DOWN TO THE CARIBBEAN!

I can't waite and I had to share my impatience with you. A week from now I'll be on my way to the Caribbean! After my little vacation to Turkey 2 months ago I'm ready for my next one. I'll be visiting the Island Curaçao where I'll be staying for a week, after that we'll (my and my BFF) be visiting Aruba, an other Island in the Caribbean. I've never been there before so I'm pretty excited! From today I started to count down and you'll be counting with me; Just 7 days left and counting!

A SUNNY AFTERNOON

Had a spontaneous and lovely day at the 'Museum park' with my cousin after some diner at Vapiano's in my work outfit. So in love with that place; low budget delicious pasta meals. The meal I always order is Arrabbiata with penne. Ate it the first time during Nothing Hill Carnival and hooked on it since then!

Outfit of the day completely H&M (Blouse, Skirt, Bag, Jacket, Bracelet)/ Watch - Fossil/ Cross & Bullet bracelets - Asos

POST-SUMMER SUNGLASSES

Yeah yeah yeah... I'm aware of the fact that the summer is almost over. Buttt.. for those rare days the sun does shine in the Netherlands and elsewhere we can still wear sunglasses (and those people who like to wear sunglasses indoors (?!), this post is definitely for you)! The selected sunglasses are beneath 50 euro's but oh-so lovely! For the record: the 14th of September I'll be on my way to Curaçao so I can put my new fav. purchased sunglasses to use.. don't be jealous; just buy yourself some sunglasses!

THE LAZY

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Every now and again I have an 'off'-day, not feeling like dressing up at all. With autumn at our doorstep those days will mutliply for sure. Therefor I'm pleased with his new beanie trend! Got myself a beanie from H&M already (see picture below). I wasn't sure if I'd ever wear it, but I did and I love it. My advice; beanie it up whenever you can,  mix it with some casual outfit and you're ready to go!

Beanie - Choices/ Blouse - H&M

It was my second year helping my friend out at a kids event braiding hair of little girls. It was cold as f#ck at the end (my hands where freezing and numb), but it was fun! As you can see I had my 'lazy day' swag on ;)
